George Li

Founder, President and CEO

Dr. Li is the Founder, President and CEO of Westcloud Construction. He founded Imperial Group and its subsidiary entities in Hong Kong. The group has completed real estate investment transactions in Hong Kong SAR, Mainland China, United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and many other countries, types of real estate investment involve residential, commercial, and mixed use properties, and maintain relationship with local developers in the global market.

Dr. Li has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector at individual & corporate level. Not only compasses the economic cycle of real estate industry well, Dr. Li always emphasizes the potential of added value to a particular deal, by upgrading the structure, design, facility and property management to realize the profit gain in the investment.

Dr. Li held a Senior Lecturer position at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and also studied at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.


 

Michael Derr

Vice President of Development

Michael has focused on urban multi-family and mixed-use development his entire career. With completed projects valued at over U.S. $4.0Bn throughout the western United States, he has proven adept at coordinating all stakeholders, from project neighbors and consultants to city officials and investors, to successful project outcomes. He was awarded an MBA from Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.) and a BA - Architecture from the University of Washington (Seattle).


 

Sheri Quinton

Chief Financial Officer

Sheri Quinton is a seasoned CFO with over 29 years of experience, specializing in financial leadership, cost control, and project forecasting across diverse building types, including commercial mega industrial distribution centers, big-box retail, multi-family, mixed-use apartment communities, and urban residential townhomes. With a proven track record of managing $2.5 billion in contract-based revenue, Sheri excels in capital management, working capital optimization, and securing financing for large-scale projects. Her strategic approach maximizes savings while protecting clients’investments, ensuring both profitability and long-term financial security. Sheri is also an expert in ERP implementation, financial modeling, and multi-state contract compliance, consistently enhancing business performance.


 

Daniel Sokol

Project Manager

Daniel has over 25 years of experience in the Pacific Northwest construction industry, specializing in single and multifamily homes. His residential expertise is rooted in leadership roles at two Fortune 500 companies, Pulte and Toll Brothers, where he gained invaluable experience managing large-scale residential projects. Daniel holds a degree in Project Management, along with extensive training and certifications. He has successfully led projects from inception to completion, ensuring that each development met the highest standards of quality and safety. Daniel is known for his ability to lead diverse teams, manage project timelines and budgets effectively, while foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Additionally, he has served as Senior Construction Procurement Officer at CH2Mhill and Senior Project Manager for a Seattle-based infill townhome developer, excelling across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.


 

Maria Lau Hui

Architectural Consultant & Permit Specialist

Maria is a licensed architect, LEED Accredited Professional, and operational strategist with 20+ years in architecture and real estate development. She possesses a keen eye for design and business optimization, an in-depth understanding of building infrastructure, and an unyielding passion for sustainability, community engagement, and policymaking for the arts, architecture & built environment. Maria currently leads Matcha Agency, guiding clients through design, entitlement logistics, feasibility studies, and zoning analysis. She chairs and co-founded the BelRed Arts District Community Alliance and has served on the Bellevue Arts Commission and 4Culture Public Art Advisory Committee. Maria holds a BSAS from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, a Master of Architecture from Columbia University, and an executive MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
